Experience

Rick Adamy was a community leader, entrepreneur, mentor, father, and husband.

In 1979, with young families relying on them, he and Jim Ransford left the security of a national CPA firm to launch Adamy & Ransford. A full year passed before either took a paycheck.

That firm went on to launch both Adamy Valuation and Baker Holtz. Along the way, Rick helped launch the careers of countless professionals, both inside and outside of the firm. He was a trusted mentor and advisor to business owners, executives, professionals, and community leaders.

The organizations that he supported as a volunteer, board member, sponsor, and contributor are too many to list. Despite his many professional and community commitments, he prioritized being present for his family and friends, making the most of every moment together.

We lost our founder to pancreatic cancer on April 30, 2024. We are proud to continue his legacy.
